Neils EX daily rider… this has razzed around the trails of Uppsala, done an odd weekend in Järvsö, hit the podium at National Enduro Champs – it’s a proper do it all bike! Although raced and rallied (one careful owner!) it’s been well looked after. It has some battle scars, but all cosmetic.

Really tempted to not sell it and just hang it on the wall as a ‘classic’, but… it would be a shame to retire it too soon, so… if you’re interested, please get in touch BEFORE placing the order/purchase and talk to Neil himself, and he’ll decide if it’s going to a good home! 😉

Where to start?!… it was a dream build basically, so it started life as a 5010 C in large. Everything removed and just the front triangle, swingarm and bearings were left.
Öhlins TTX Air rear shock fitted, with an upgraded lower bearing pivot (super plush, rattle free action) and a Öhlins RXF 36 TTX Air fork. Normal travel on the 5010 is 140mm/130mm, this is a slightly extended 150/140 combo. This was done so slightly more sag could be run in the system, whilst retaining travel and not affecting geometry. So it’s not as much as a Bronson, but it’s a boosted 50101!
A Cane Creek headset keeps things changing direction and a Hope stem (with a One Up EDC tool inside) One Up carbon bar and Peatys grips round off the cockpit and a One Up dropper connected to a Hope dropper lever, and a Specialized Power Comp Mimic saddle keep things fun and comfortable at the other end.
Wheels are a treat!  Santa Cruz Reserve 30 carbon rims on DT350, with 52T ratchet and Enduro bearings. Literally, these wheels have not moved, de tensioned or needed truing since day one! They are currently wrapped in Maxxis Assegai EXO+ 2,5 WT front and Assegai DH casing rear with a Cush Core Pro in the back (tubeless) from Enduro duties last year (eek.. it’s not gone anywhere since last year!)
Drivetrain is a custom mashup. 12 speed XTR shifter connected to an XTR medium cage rear mech running on a 10-45t XT cassette and a Hope chainset and BB. XTR trail pedals (beaten but still alive!) put the power down! It’s had a rear mech and regular drivetrain parts changed throughout it’s life, so everything is in perfect working order!
Brake are Hopes Tech 3 master cylinders connected to E4 calipers. 200/180mm rotors.Honestly, this things wants for nothing and can do pretty much anything!
