That’s right! We’re looking for (principally) another mechanic to join our team! We need someone who’s got experience already and knows one end of a spanner from the other! You’ll be a self motivated person, who brings their own energy to the day and who has good people skills, can talk to customers and colleagues all whilst working in a relatively confined space! Egos and attitudes need not apply!
Experience of all types of bike would be an advantage. Hydraulics, suspension, electricals, wheel building and other ’techy things’ are always on the schedule, not just punctures and gear adjusts. We’d give you an extra gold star for every ’official’ certificate you’ve got as well – Shimano SC, Bosch, RS osv…
Working as part of a small, close knit team – your duties would also include email/phone & computer work. Stock maintenance, ordering & processing. Sweeping, cleaning and coffee making.
A valid drivers licence would be beneficial, but not necessarily essential. However the ability to ride a bike to a reasonable standard might just be a deal breaker.
We’ve got flexible ways of offering arrangements with respect to hours and days, but if you’re looking for long weekends and winters away skiing – this might be your dream come true!
